This guy is the subject of an experiment. I interpret this as a good sign. This was a tomato start I purchased for the experiment, one of only two starts I've bought this year. (This greenhouse is saving us money!)
The vine wants to curl around upwards. The green plastic tape is attached to a weight to train the plant to dangle down. Once it gets down a few feet, I'll let it curl back up. (As if I could stop it....)
