The Mint Pot

Some of us in my family really enjoy the smell of mint. Can't explain it. Can't really help it.

Recently, I tore a bunch of spearmint out of a place where I needed to work on the house. I loved how I smelled after that: all minty.

So I made a mint pot, and hung it off the back porch. I put both spearmint and peppermint in it. (The peppermint didn't like the winter so much; the spearmint didn't even notice it.)

The mint pot is for one specific purpose: so we can rub our hands on it and smell all minty. That's it.

We kind of like it.
